Hi! I’m Julia, a 17 year old Senior in high school. Before we get started, I would like to let you know some things about me so you can approach this blog as if you are talking to a friend. I am involved in my school orchestra and I also love creative expression. In my free time I enjoy water coloring and bullet journaling, but enough about me.
Recently I have been given a project in my English class to read a book of my choice and write a blog about it. The book I have chosen is The Secret Life of Bees, written by Sue Monk Kidd. Here, I will be documenting my thoughts and commentary as I read my novel. I will say I am new to blogging, and will definitely need some time to get the hang of it! However, I’m sure that with my creativity and work ethic I will be able to create an organized and well thought out blog. I am especially excited to see my growth as a blogger through this process, seeing that I have never written one before (but there’s always a first time for everything!). I am also hoping that through this experience I will become a better writer, and enjoy a good book along the way. I hope you tune in for my next post!
